there is no comfort…
not warm new socks, not fresh clean sheets, not hot cocoa by the fire, not grilled cheese on a snowy day, not the smell of fresh coffee, not your favorite song played through earbuds.
not even the promise of heaven is as comforting as the company of a girl as beautiful as you are.
poker face.
people paint pictures of me because i’m awesome.
pretty girls
are my favorite thing.
new perspective
the world has secrets that we’ll never figure out. there are items we’ll never find. there are laws we’ll never realize. yet, there’s an ongoing quest to “learn everything” as if there will ever be a point in human existence where the knowledge of the world will be contained in volumes of books. it’s a little unnerving how afraid we are, as a civilization, of the things we don’t know. according to millions of humans, at one point, the earth was flat…. and it didn’t matter. life went on, people birthed, people died, people consumed, people shared, life came full circle the same way it always does. whats even scarier than that is that, on this never ending quest for wisdom, we feel that we make “discoveries” in all disciplines, as if what we’ve “discovered” didn’t exist before and, apparently, putting a name to it now validates it as a “real thing”.
ALL of the information contained within the cosmos is already compiled inside of every living creature’s brain. everything that is an absolute truth, YOU ALREADY KNOW. “discoveries” are nothing more than something a human does when he’s finally willing to accept that there was something he wasn’t aware of before and is afraid of being called stupid. we’re all stupid, we’re all beautiful.
